Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager for our organisation. The Project Manager needs to work with Business Analysts closely to convert client’s requirements into a well-documented business proposal. The project manager should also be flexible to prepare required documentation on their own. The technical Project Manager should have a natural analytical skill along with ability to motivate the team and take them to the next level of competency. A Project Manager should have technical background to understand and evaluate the technicalities of a requirement and risks associated with it. A Technical Project Manager having experience in managing games will be an additional benefit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for technical projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, QA, and operations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership regularly.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot customer issues in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure technical feasibility of solutions, coordinating with architects and technical leads.
  • Manage scope changes, budget adjustments, and project timelines efficiently.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and suggesting best practices.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on business needs.
  • Mentor team members to develop their skills and foster a high-performing, motivated project team
  • Proven ability to manage conflicts and negotiate win-win outcome
  • Use tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, MS Project, or similar to track progress and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years handling technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • PMP, CSM, or other project management certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working with distributed and remote teams is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and basic software architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in emerging technology areas like AR/VR and blockchain would be a definite plus.
